Ford Extended Warranty Help??

Hi,

I have the following; 2013 GT Vert, Manual Transmission, Brembo, Navigation and I have been noticing my 1st to 2nd shifting is quite notchy (makes noise) and I have driven manual most of my life. The car is under warranty and in storage, so I plan on having it looked at when I take it out, but I am running out of time to get the less expensive under warranty option. So I want to buy the Ford extended warranty. I am trying to choose between two plans. The plans cover the following transmission parts;

http://www.troy-ford-extended-warranty.com/

Extra Care = Less Expensive (113 parts..Doesn't cover a lot of the electronics, emissions etc)
• All Internal Parts
• Governor Assembly
• Seals and Gaskets
• Torque Converter
• Transfer Case (Including All Internal Parts)
• Transmission Case
• Transmission Module (External)
• Transmission Mounts
• Transmission Vacuum Module

Premium Care=Most Expensive (500 Components Covers all Electronics)

• All Internal Parts
• Governor Assembly
• Kickdown Linkage
• Release Hubs and Bearings
• Seals and Gaskets
• Torque Converter
• Transfer Case (Including All Internal Parts)
• Transmission Case
• Transmission Linkage
• Transmission Module (External)
• Transmission Mounts
• Vacuum Module

Based on my main concern, should I go with the More or Less expensive option? Also maybe I should be concerned about all the electrical components? I am sure the heated seats and NAV unit would be expensive to replace.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks

Paul

I believe I have the extra care. I can't remember. I actually got 1% less APR because I got an extended warranty, and that the cost of the warranty with the 1$ less APR actually lowered my monthly payment like twenty bucks.

I would say since you went the route that has a few extra electronics that you should get the warranty that covers them.

When I had a Ford ESP I bought the Premium Care which every Service Advisor said that is the best one.

based on everything ive seen and have been told go with the premium care (top of the line) or dont bother with any of them.

I picked up one for my 03 cobra and thankfully never needed it
