Cobra Jet manifold

I was just wondering if anyone out there knew what the power peaks were for the cobra jet intake and how it runs. Thanks.

There's already many threads on this subject. Just do a search. And it's not for you unless you want to spend $2000 and spin the motor to 8000 rpm.

I haven't seen much testing done on these yet but the one I have seen shows an increase of 20 hp and 20 tq over the boss intake, but they spun the engine all the way to 8k and also had some head work done (the head work was already done before the swap). Just doesn't seem worth it to me

Oh man i don't remember the site but they were selling the 575hp option for $5800-5900
The link is in one of my other threads I'm not 100% sure though
But AM has the 540hp for $5900 and you can go to Roushs site and get the upgrade for $600 or $700 to a 625hp

700hp Symphony - 2013 Stage 3 SEMA Phase 3 Mustang
Here is the link to the Roush site w/ the s/c video. Read they comment under the video and it will tell you why they whine is so loud in the video and what you should expect it to be like while driving.

Yeah, only hear the whine cause they had a mic under the hood. However, I do hear a little out of mine when I really get into it. I've posted this one before but this is just the gopro on the windshield and no mic under the hood.

Are you able to hear this during your everyday driving? If you do how noticeable is it.

It's quiet. When I have the windows down and get into it I'll hear it spin up. But still pretty quiet compared to others. Quiet but very responsive. Had a procharger in the past and it really whined.

I have 3.73 gears. Was getting 19 city and 23 hwy with a 21 avg. With the phase 2 kit I'm getting 17 city and 22 hwy and 20 is my avg. Now once I ran open road with being very conservative I saw 24+.

Awesome choice on the blower, I always get excited for other people when they buy a blower lol. One day I'll get a blower, just need to pay off my student loans first!

Had the P-1SC on my 2001 F150. It was a lot of fun. A lot of power produced and loves the whine but the lag when getting into the gas from a standstill always reminded me of a turbo. But once running, response was instant. Why I opted for the Roush. Wanted to try something different.

I'm going with a Paxton. I'm guessing they whine just as loud as the procharger? And for anyone wanting to hear the perfect whine check this out
