Sorry you think I'm spamming, but trying to get as much information as quickly as possible. Its been almost a year since purchase was made and yes I saw where he purchased the 4.10 but he has not updated how he likes them. Just trying to get him to give an update on 4.10, did he actually buy them, did he change his mind and not buy anything, did he get them and stick with them, or did he change them out again.

4.10

Love it. 70mph 25-2600 rpm

Gas drop just .3 mpg not much at all and I also got a more aggressive tune at the same time so that could of helped to lower the mpg

No more down shift the car feels way faster than stock. Get the 4.10 if your looking for gears

Not trying to sound like a dick but a lot of these questions your asking have already been answered in the same thread. Please just read through the thread a little more or just use the search bar.

Thank you

Got some track times to show the "supposed" improvement? Plus you state you went with a more aggressive tune so it's not exactly an apples to apples comparison.

I had 4.10 gears on my 06 GT. If I could go back and redo things I would have went for 4.30's.

He has a good point though. Your response is that of someone who is overly defensive.

Show him up, get a track slip.

Dude we have had it out on S197.
About these gears, You have no idea. I'm not "overly defensive" I just don't like him, and I'm not alone on that.

Not mad at all. Maybe I'll get some steeper gears if your track times got better. You could sway me.

Do you professionally race for a living? Probably not...so why are you worried about track times? You probably visit a track once a year. The guy likes the 4.10 because he can feel the difference on the street which is 95 percent where he drives it.

Worried about track times? racksteris mentioned in his posts he was looking to increase his times and he also mentioned welding his axle tubes. Or did you miss that? How often I visit the track is not relevant here but I assure you it's more than once a year.
