New Mustang GT 2014 Brembo owner

Just picked her up yesterday and already have a dozen or so things I want to do. Getting tint, backup camera, side scoops and side louvers put on next week. Then plan on an axle back exhaust and rear window louvers. I traded in my 2013 Focus ST on her and don't regret it (I'll probably have a little of that next winter though).

Just ordered my 2014 GT in the same color as yours. Very, very nice color!...if I say so myself. Your pic makes even more eager for delivery. Enjoy modding HER up. I have a bunch of parts coming in the trunk from the Ford Racing catalog...cannot wait to drive and wrench on my HER too..."Trisa"...is her name...along with her 5 year old sister, a 2008 GT named "Rachel."

Congrats, and good luck with it.

Thanks for all the kind words and welcomes! I'm still blown away by how awesome this car is and I haven't even heard a chirp from the tires from accelerating or flying through turns. I can't wait to see what she can do once I get a little more aggresive.

Thanks,

Nikki

Aside from the louvers, tint, stripe and side scoops the dealer is putting on, probably some axle back exhausts. That's about all I'll do there. Eventually I might buy some koni adjustables, but that's about it. I would have just bought the GT500 if I wanted more power

Alas I go to work at 4:30am so unless I am able to hear something other than the GT500s axle back on a newer Mustang, I'm going to just have to go with those to avoid irritating the neighbors. I had originally planned on going the Roush route, but haven't found anyone local to let me hear theirs. Oh well, I'm sure the GT500s will make me happy.

Haha That is the main reason i am getting them....To wake everyone up, and I just like my stuff loud...maybe that is the cro-magnon man in me...

Well if ya got picky neighbors Roush may not be good for you! They are a lil loud on a cold start! Perfect after that though.

They're not picky neighbors, but my carport is right next to their bedroom and since I have to start it to move it, I don't want to be a wakeup call for them every morning at 430am. I guess I will go with the GT500s. I know I certainly wouldn't appreciate really loud exhausts waking me at midnight .

Thank you very much!

Once I get her back from the dealer with my goodies installed. I just ordered black 5.0s and blackouts for the side indicators and third brake light so I'll need to get those installed too.

I just got it to stop bugging me about 911 assist and got my contacts into StYNC. Not having the touchscreen like my ST did makes it more of an adventure to hunt for things, but I will not miss the bugginess of the MFT version of SYNC. Now to figure out applink (which was not available for the MFT)!

Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yay - finally got her back. Tinted, blacked out markers and third brake light, side louvers and scoops, stripe and backup camera. I practically fainted in joy when I picked her up today...

Still need to replace the 5.0s with my black ones soon.

Great looking car man. I'm not usually a fan of stripes but those really look good. Good job so far, now just get some springs to get the stance right haha

Thanks, but I'm not doing anything else but some axle backs. I'm very happy with everything the way it is.
