Bama hybrid tune vs race tune tq hp curve

Does anyone have a pic of a dyno pull between the two tunes? I can feel a difference down low between the two but to be honest, my stock tune feels more smooth and seems to pull more consistently all the way through 7200 rpm. The big difference I am seeing is a big drop in mpg. From 16 to 12.

Sorry for yet another Bama tune thread.

And... perf Mods are: bassani axle backs and c&l CAI.

The Race tune and Hybrid tune will definitely make very similar power through the mid range and up top. The only difference is going to be a little more low end torque with the Hybrid tune! However, our Bama tune should not be causing a loss in gas mileage, We actually always see an increase in Gas mileage.

It's not uncommon for your first few tanks to be a little less than your average MPG. Mainly because you're getting used to the tune so your on the throttle a lot more. Basically your gas mileage is at the mercy of your right foot.

We can definitely look into this for you and see if anything looks out of the ordinary! Please give the Bama team a call and they'll get you squared away. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Lol!! It is more fun. I tried to make it a point on this last tank to drive normal just to make sure.

Any of our tunes are going to be more fuel efficient for your Mustang, your gas mileage is going to be at the Mercy of your right foot! I run our Hybrid tune on my 2011 GT and I noticed a gain of about 3MPG on average, as long as I can stay out of the throttle .

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future.

Well... It's been 12 weeks of waiting and watching. Still averaging low 12s MPG. I'm putting the stock tune back on as well as the stock air box and give it a few weeks to see what MPGs go to. I see data logging in my future.
