Brake Upgrade

So has anyone with a 11-14 5.0 NON brembo upgraded to the Ford Racing SVT Front Brake upgrade kit ( brembo's ) ? and if so how do you like them? want to upgrade but spending 2k on what most of the other ones cost is a little much for me.

I only know one person who has done it, and he liked it. Everyone on here will tell you it's not worth it and that you should just upgrade rotors, pads, and brake fluid from what you have now. Unless you are going to have an auto cross car, the huge brake kits aren't necessary. And if you were going to auto cross it, nobody would advise you to go budget build on your brakes which is what you would be doing by getting the ford racing upgrade. Having said that, my car is non-brembo and I have driven a few cars with brembos for the purpose of seeing the difference. The large front rotors and upgraded calipers increase your stopping power noticeably, but in no way compared to the wilwood set-up I have on the lightning. So really it's up to you to decide if you just want that look or not
