Barton vs. Ford Racing

I just found this article. This works out great for me seeing as how my car has to go in for warranty work next week. I guess this means that I can go ahead and install my new Barton 2 post shifter bracket.

Ford racing isn't ford and since you can't prove Barton makes it they can still say something about it. Choice is yours obviously.

Even then the argument can be that bartons regular products don't go through the quality standards of their products licensed by Ford Racing.

Well, here's to hoping lol. My dealer is pretty chill, tho. I think what they're doing next week is clutch work.

Yeah wasn't saying they would care haha. There are a good bunch that won't and technically they'd be hard pressed to attempt saying your Barton bracket caused clutch issues.

I have family and friends that work for both Ford Racing Development and FRPP along with Roush and Cobrajet... I guess one of the perks ground up in Livonia. The Shifter is a Barton, I actually called Barton and talked to Dave's dad just to clarify. If you only knew the quality inspection done by FRPP you would really hope that the company fabricating the part does a good job! lol.
