Now a smoked/painted inner headlight reflector could give you the look you want, without killing your luminosity. This is popular in the import community, but doesn't seem to have taken off as much with our Stangs.
I plan to paint my headlight innereds. I hate chrome.

Just dating myself here...but I remember when a headlight was all you got with a car, and I never had any issue seeing the road with oncoming cars. Today, we have those horrible blue lights which absolutely blind the oncoming driver. A driver who is aware of his light effect, will turn off fog lights, driving lights, ect and lower his brights. Seeing the road is great, but one has to wonder how many accidents have been rendered at the hands of thoughtless drivers with too bright lights? Courtesy is getting harder and harder to witness when behind the wheel of a two ton vehicle. Not saying that I want to go back to horse and buggy, but come on, take responsibility for your car's lights. Throw all the lights you want at the pavement, that is just sensible, but also remember where the on/off switch is.
Just saying.

I think the worst is at night while it is raining. I've had times I've just guessed where the road goes because some people can't aim their headlights correctly and I get completely blinded.

Headlight adjustment is the only thing I miss about having to have your car inspected.

I just picked up a set of the gt/Cs fog light kit and ditched the factory fogs and grille to put in a CDC performance grille. I also just purchased a ddm tuning 35 watt 4500k hid kit for the fogs to achieve that white look to match the factory headlights. I'm installing the hids Thursday so I will take pics then. Light output isn't a concern as the headlights are far bright enough for my city driving.

It probably has to be the projector housing which at certain angles might give a blue effect

I have the CS front and aftermarket HIDS (8000k) in the heads and fogs. They are definitely enough light to drive with at night, and the fogs are pretty good. I actually had to use only the fogs when my original HID headlights went outf or a few nights til I got the new ones. And they aren't obnoxious the be in front of. I can put pics up of the lights when it turns night if y'all want.

That looks awesome! Makes me even more excited for mine. Do you have any problems with the HIDs in the fogs getting too hot?

I just installed the CS facia with fogs. This is the first night to use the fogs, they aren't as bright as the grill fogs or maybe they need to be aimed up a bit. I assumed they were set a the factory but that doesn't seem reasonable, since they were shipped to me in a box.

Not at all, my first set of headlights had very bad ballasts. So I got some xenon HIDS.......amazings. The fogs have been perfect from day 1

My HID ballasts crapped out so I tried some LEDs. Less output than the 35w HIDs but they match the headlights perfectly. I've got plenty light from the HID headlights alone.
