Who all in here is a die hard mustang fan, loyal to the brand?

Idk about everyone but if you pay what some of us did for cars, there are a whole lot of options to choose from. The dream was a musting, is a mustang and will always be a mustang. If that is not your dream and passion, probably on the wrong forum. I'd sell and go to a place where they talk about cars in general.

It's been a fun day on ME....well, maybe not as much for the OP but, that's the internet.

I've had 4 Mustangs, 68, 79, 88, now this one but...had a couple F body's as well from the '70s, because they were better than the Mustangs of that era. Then along came the Fox which delivered alot more fun for the buck than the F so, back in blue. Now here we are and I was looking at the same dilemma. The Camaro killed itself as a choice on price locally, outward vision, weight and so, here we are, back in blue again.

Even had a couple Mopars, not sure why....

I'm on #5. 97 V6,Modded 99 Cobra,Modded 05 GT,Modded 07 GT & Modded 11 5.0. I've also owned 6 other Ford vehicles which include 2 current Ford Daily drivers. Ford is my go to if I were to buy a DD....we are a Blue Oval family without a doubt but when it comes to toys I love them all. I am not contradicting myself, I am simply stating my love for all makes and models.

#3 mustang for me. Even if I did own another performance car, I'd still have my mustang.

You guys say "issue" a lot. Similar to "like", "seriously" and "amazing". Those words could all be erased from the english language and I wouldn't miss them. Seriously. Like it would be amazing.

"Like" is the word I'd first choose to eradicate. Our youth would then be speechless.

Well, in the south, out in the sticks. We start our sentences with "Well".

Am I the only one that went back to count the "issues"?

As compared to other words, the word issue actually only represented a very small portion of the words used. In the sense as it relates to the thread, the word "issue" was not over done.

Signed.

The word po po.

You'd recognize how overdone it is if you used a synonym, such as "matter of contention". Yeah, let us all start utilizing this instead of "issue". Heh

^This +1... and if it's not "Well..." it's "Uh..." or a combination of the two.

Bahahahahaha. That's great. I have no matter of contention changing my vocabulary.

But as much as I like the car, I gotta admit, that New 2015 Corvette
Pushing 450 HP with only 3200 lbs to Haul,
Has me really Drooling

The Camaro and Challengers are Tug Boats with Nice engines
Id never own one of those, regardless of the HP.

Id even say if the new 2015 Mustang has 500 HP with IRS and drops 300 lbs,
Then screw the Corvette.

Basically Iam a Car guy, Not a Die Hard Stang Thang
And if it wasnt for Chevy coming out with the 430 HP
SS Camaro. Ford would probally be still pushing the 4.6 with maybe 325Hp
Knowing that their Fan base for Mustangs are loyal till death,
So why take a chanch with a New engine that presents New Headaches

In a Nut Shell
Loyalty benifits the Manufactuer $$

Competition benifits the Consumer

This is a No Brainer
May the better car win
Because , I'll buy it ~~~~~ ~~~~~

I think you did good for yourself and stood up for what you needed to make it right. I hope you have no more issues and enjoy your stang.

Trakpak you say may the better car win because you'll buy it but you obviously didn't do that this time since so spend so much time complaining about how bad it is. Maybe you should go buy an import....

Just wanted to give you guys an update. Ford fixed the lifter and follower in #3 cylinder. I got a premium maintenance plan as well as an extended warranty out of it. She feels better before the lifter collapsed to tell you the truth. I opened her up and she loved every bit of it. Thanks for all the responses to my problem. Now, its time to enjoy and do some mods.

"Well" don't go modding the engine or a tune, that extended warranty on that powertrain will be worthless.
