Cool Lots of camaros at the local Ford dealer...

So, I swapped out the 93R tune with a 93Hybrid and went for a spin down by the local Ford dealer. There were 4 of the new camaros in the trade-in section, 3 of which were SSes.

The chevy dealer down the road didn't have a single mustang on the lot.

It was a good day.

You can get deals on camaros at ford and stangs at chevy dealerships. Because they know ppl dont come looking for those at their dealerships and get auctioned off sometimes

Did you notice a difference between the 2 tunes? I'm about to try the 93 Hybrid too.

According to an email reply I got from Bama, it is their most aggressive tune. It has the low end power of the street tune, mid of the performance, and the high end of the race. A mix between them all.

You have to specifically request it from them. HTH.

Well, f*ck me.....looks like I'm going to be giving Bama a call soon.

Thanks man.

I know it shouldn't matter too much, but whats the gas mileage like with that tune. I imagine it's angry as hell, so the mileage has to go down the pooper. This is my daily driver, and I commute 30 miles both ways to/from work.

I've gotten as high as 22mpg running the hybrid. I sit at 18.7 right now cause I have more city driving than I did a few weeks ago. Before I lived 1 mile from the highway and worked 2 miles from the highway. Now I live 10 miles from the highway.

Thats about 10 miles more than me, so it's probably consistent with my drive.

Hybrid tune definitely has more oomph in the lower RPM than the 93R, from what I can feel anyway.

Midrange and top end feel about the same to me though. I haven't noticed a big drop in MPGs so far, maybe 2-3 mpgs most. I chalk that up to me having a bit of a leadfoot while feeling the new tune out.
