How is your 401A interior holding up ?

I have a 2012 GT with the 401A interior, first ill say when getting in and out of my car I do not just jump in the seat. I'm very careful getting in and out of my car but I'm getting a lot of little scrapping on the seats, is this leather soft or what ? Also any good kits or die to hide the scratches ?
Thanks...

I have the same problem. Your better off just buying a new seat skin when it gets worse. Or take it to the dealer. They might replace it. It will look like new again.

I don't have the 401A interior (i have a 2001) but i do have dark leather interior, i would say to use leather conditioner frequently to prevent the possible scratches or cracking.

I have 46k miles with the same 401a package, there are a couple of small scratches on the leather but more than anything I'm aggrevated by the leather that's stretched out in the seat

Sort of.... on my wife's black BMW leather. The body guy at the BMW service center used it when we complained the leather on her drivers side bottom cushion was showing "lines" that appeared like cracks (no cracks, but wrinkle looking lines). He applied this stuff in the morning when we dropped it off for it's free maintenance schedule. He said it had to sit for a few hours. When we went to pick it up later in the afternoon, you could not tell they were ever there! I now own a bottle, but have not had to use it on my 2011 Mustangs leather yet. Her BMW black leather looked new with it.

Only at 3500 miles right now, but still looks like the day I bought it.

I did purchase the "interior protection plan" when I bought the car. They coated the interior with something and pretty much gave me a lifetime warranty against any fading and discoloration, and rips (even if they're my fault). All I have to do is bring the car in every 5 years to get the interior re-coated. Although its just a one time charge.

With this plan, if anything starts to fade or I accidentally rip the seats, they will fix or replace the item free of charge... Or so they say...
