Hi I have a 13 gt and thinking about getting new exhaust pipe but am just so undecided on what do get. I do plan on getting x pipe some time in the future. So I've heard that Roush axel backs are great with the stock h pipe but with o/r x they sound like crap. I don't plan on getting a o/r x right away so I want a muffler that has little to no drone but nice and loud when you get on the gas. Thanks in advance! Forgot to include I have a 450-500 budget

You'll be lucky to find them used. Rarely do they seem to show up used. If you find them used buy them. As for the roush they do sound pretty good on stock H.

See I had the roush went o/r x and hated the sound and drone and then got the borla. So in all I spent 460 dollars more than I needed too because k chose to buy the roush instead of the borla because of the price. I then traded the roush for 250 dollar springs because after being on your car a few thousand miles and rusting no one is going to pay more than 200-250. Most people were offering me 200 and them one member offered me his new springs for the roush. Were the springs I wanted so I lucked out.

As you can tell by my avatar ihave the dual tip gt500 borla s types but that requires the gt500 valance and thts a whole other story. The rousch are real and get raspy so if that's what you're looking for go for it. The borlas r a deep rumple with that muscle car sound. Also look into the gt500 mufflers. Real popular around here. Not as loud as the borlas but with an o/r h or x they really wake up.

Cat backs are from the catalytic converters back. So it includes the over axle pipes as well as the axle back.

If u won't ever remove the cats then buy the roush. If u plan on an off road xpipe, which removes the cats, then save for the Borlas or buy the GT500s.

You'll gain power just taking the cats off. Average of 15-20 HP.

You would see your biggest gain with removing
The cats if your supercharging. It will be alot more free flowing and not as restrictive.

lol must have missed the part where it says 600-1200 with supporting mods. lol. Stock GT engine won't handle anywhere near 1200. Need a lot of work done to attempt that.

well everyone pretty much has told you to get the borla or gt500 if doing o/r x. You seem dead set on the roush. If you want the roush get them. You obviously know what your getting into.

futher more if you want more opinions. Take that 4 grand and put some of it straight into suspension if you haven't first or that FI will not be anything close to potent.

Big+^ u need those wheels planted, nothing is worst than tons of power and low traction... I would assume that can't be safe either... But back on topic, Borla S is the way to go... Mine are fantastic, just my axlebacks are deep and loud, u get what u pay for... Unless u get the wrong thing and end up paying more at the end just cuz u wanted to save a few bucks
