smoked headlight covers

Does anyone have these installed on their 13-14 mustang. Im thinking of buying them for mine but I wanted to know what they looked like with your headlights on and running lights on. I am also getting ready to do away with the fog lights so that will give me less visibility..im adding the billit grille combo in. Any opinions would be much appreciated!

Curious about these too. I think at night you take them off. Read some reviews at AM and they were saying at night you can't see more than 30-40' in front.

Yea I watched the video on AM and it says buy Sylvania bulbs so your visibility is better (but how much better ya know?!) but if I have to take em off at night it aint worth it. Ill just have my tint shop tint my factory lights just not as dark when I get my windows done on Thursday if they have time. But I really liked the look of these.

I added vinyl tints to my 2011 GT on the front and rear lights. It looks amazing and was pretty easy to install. The only negative is that the headlights are reduced and visibility is definitely compromised. It looks amazing though

What % is the tint. Do ya know? I thought about ordering the tint from AM but I dont trust myself installing it lol..plus my car is getting the windows tinted at 15% Thursday so they could just do it there. I dont do a whole lot of night driving but how bad is the visibility with the tint you have?

I bought it off eBay from seller 24integriry. It doesn't have a % but if you search on eBay and look at the "front and rear complete tint kit" that is what I bought. I want to tint my windows to 15% too but a little nervous about getting pulled over a lot. Might get 25%

---------- Post added at 02:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:22 PM ----------

Visibility is definitely not as good but I can still see. I'd say with the high beams on it is as if the low beams are on. Probably closest comparison I can give you

Ok thanks for that. Legal is 30% in Indiana. I had 15% on my 07 GT and never got problems over it. Got pulled over once for speeding and he didnt say anything about my tint. Id like to go 5% but I think that is pushing it LOL.

Naha yeah NY is 30% I believe. Oh well I think 15% is what I'll end up doing. Good luck with the light tints they will look great

Don't order the covers. They don't fit the 13-14s correctly. I tinted mine with Lamin-X which is thicker & more durable than window tint.

It's their gunsmoke shade. Don't know the % but it looks like 35%.

Looks good! Does the day time lights project pretty good through the tint?

I did have covers, they didn't let light through for anything. I mostly drove city and it didn't really matter. Soon as I moved more to the country and did some really dark nighttime driving it was a real awakener at how dark they were. I couldn't see for anything even with the brights on.

I got the smoked raxioms which are far better because they are nowhere near as dark as my headlight covers were and I am adding HIDs to them to help.

The raxioms are nice headlights, but it makes NO sense to put them on a 2013. The 2013's have HID headlights that are worth over $1,000. Not only that, but I wouldn't trade my HID's for standard lights any day. I would just get the covers but take them off at night. I'm not a fan on tinting headlights, because you can't remove it to see better.

I agree, I love the 13 lights but I wish they kinda had a more of a dark look to them to match my car a little more. I think I will go with a smoked tint to give it that look.

I have the smoked headlight covers on my 2011, but I always take them off to drive at night- headlights just do not project through them well at all. Not a big deal to take them off though...
