Boss front splitter install

I've had it sitting in my garage for the past 2 weeks but I just haven't come around to installing it, but 1 thing that's very confusing is the instructions... Ford always does a lousy job of it by using cartoon images with no step by step description on how or what to do... Basically my first question is once its held by tape and getting ready to make the holes, should I mark the holes with the splitter on? Or just go ahead and make the pilot holes?? In the instruction, it looks like it shows to make the marks with a marker but I'm not sure since it shows zero description to what to do

I taped/clamped mine on then drilled all holes and bolted/clipped it on.

You could mark all the holes, remove the splitter, then drill but it just seemed easier and made more sense to me to drill with the splitter as a template.

O ok, I tried to at least tape it up last night, since I saw my neighbor pass by and took advantage since I needed a second pair of hands to hold it up... Apparently the blue tape doesn't hold at all, maybe cuz the valence has a bit of Mothers Back to Black... So it's either remove it or find different tape

I have some roush parts begging to be installed but roush keeps on adding time to the back order for LMR. It's been 4 weeks overtime now and still nothing has shipped.

I hope u checked them for surface damage/scratches. My side splitters came from AM with severe scratches & had to send them back. Major bummer when u already have the driver side done & then realize the passenger side is screwed up! I had to drive around for a week with one splitter. Lol.

I'm installing the splitters as we speak, has anybody who installed the Roush side splitters had a problem with the rear section?? The part where it looks like a rear splash shield... It's not sitting right because of it

Yup. Just pop them off.......this must be a good combo. I have the Foose Speed 20's, boss front/roush side splitters. At least we are different colors.

I saw another silver 5.0 with Foose speeds yesterday too.....looks like I need to order some more appearance mods.

Yea I was kinda forced to rip them off since I already had the double sided tape that holds the splitter on... I kinda like how rare the Foose Speeds are

This was an all day thing for me, I did the front and side splitters and struggled to get clearance as I didn't have a lift trying to drill all the holes, I also was installing HIDs for the fogs 4500k 35w... I was a bit disappointed that it came out a bit bluer than the factory HIDs in the headlights
