My shifter arrived today. After inspecting the quality of it, I'll never buy anything but mgw again. Oh, did I mention it's made in the USA.

Great job George, it's nice to see a company that still believes in quality.

The saying goes, you get what you pay for. Well, I've bought other shifters in the past, this time, I got what I paid for. Thanks MGW

I just ordered this shifter before I've even taken delivery of my car! Excited! Now does the shifter come with written directions as well? Or do you have to watch the video online?

I would definitely recommend watching the video. It's a complex install

Other than the shipping invoice, this is the only paper in the box.

I was a crew chief in the USAF 9yrs, I've been a union millwright over 25+yrs and I would have been lost without the video. There are parts that need saved off the factory set up. The install is easy if you have all the info, if not it will be a wrench throwing night mare.

Ahhh ok. I'm an F-15 crew chief myself. Advice noted. It will not be installed without the video i've decided.

+1 I had to stream the video as I installed mine. It made the install so easy. Without it, not so much. Lol

If there were paper instructions it would be no problem, but there's not. Good luck and thanks for your service.

Don't know if its the new bracket, but it feels nice and soft like its stock... Barton was nice, but u had to muscle it a bit, MGW is so smooth

Which bushing component did you use?; the normal or racing.

Anyone else have any thoughts on which to use. my MGW should be here soon, want to put the right one in the first time around.

I never been to the track but enjoy a track feel providing that it will not tear my hands up via normal driving.

I had the street bushing put in mine. George told me unless it's a track only car not to use the track bushing BC of the amount of nvh it produces. The street bushing is just fine for me. Anything is better than stock

It comes default with the street bushing, I guess I got used to the noisy Barton bracket before... The MGW is silent and very smooth

---------- Post added at 11:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:16 AM ----------

I'm using the street bushing

Roger Gtstyles and BlackonBoss - the street bushing it is. The nvh and smooth shifting results were the tie breaker.
