If I have the 401A package which came with alum. annodized ball .......Can I use my jam nut and it be done right??...... or do you got to have theirs if you run one of MGW's ball shifter or a aftermarket ball with the MGW. ***NOTE*** Ordering OEM threads.I see the note of 12X1.75 for theirs.I'm wanting to just reuse my factory pieces and later I can order Speeddagw in 12x1.25.... Just trying to see what I do not have to order. Thanks for any heads up

EDIT: Already ordered it about 30 minutes ago. This post is a never mind...lol....VOID!

I couldn't imagine not having mine. I test drove a 07 gt with a pro charger and a Hurst shifter this weekend and I told the salesman that that shifter was a pos and that he needed a MGW in it :p

Alright I don't want any flak because this seems like common sense...but does MGW send you a shipping confirmation? It's been a few weeks and I haven't received any emails. I got the confirmation of purchase, but beyond that, nothing.

Does anyone know if I can just get that nut that goes from the shift ball to the boot? Mine is stock but I have a pool ball knob. Don't really like just the shift stick showing.

Yes they will sell just that piece, it's like $10 or so.

They will email or call. They installed mine for me so I got a phone call. If you entered a legit number on your order they should call you as well. Also it takes 2-4 weeks to fulfill your order due to high volume sales. You could pm George from MGW. Just scroll back a few pages. Or call them and a real person will answer lol. The staff over at MGW is awesome and they will let you know exactly what's going on and an estimated ship date.

Yes you can. I talked to George about it and then ordered it. All I bought was the shifter with the 12x1.25 (OEM) thread. I'm gonna use my stock ball/pieces until I get the custom ball from speedawg. That will have to wait. No hurry for it. The alum. factory ball don't look bad. UCA is next top priority but it may have to wait a little bit too.

I did, cannot tell that it's not the stock shifter, it is a tic shorter but hard to tell.

I placed my order for a MGW shifter today, hope it doesn't take long to get it.

Installed today. Big difference in WOT shifts. I dont know how anyone could drag race with the stock shifter. I bet this shaves alot of time in the quarter mile. Love it. Crisp shifts and more confidence driving it near limit. Overall its a must have over stock

After reading all about the MGW shifter on this site, ordered one this morning. Hoping it doesn't take too long to get here.
