Is it worth trading???

Last December I bought a 2012 Base Mustang Gt (dealer installed leather seats) with 1,700 miles for a great price. Since then I have installed FRPP tune, Flowmaster axle back and replaced that hideous steering wheel with a GT500 steering wheel. When I bought it I didn't realize what the 13 premiums had to offer Will it be worth trading her in for a new one now that prices are going down on the 13's???

If your happier with a 13 then you have to determine if personal possession is worth losing money.

I have a 2012 premium and I love it ! Is it truly worth all the little extras in creature comforts ? I'm not sure but I wouldn't give up my 12 for nothing ! Enjoy her and welcome

I know KBB is pretty much worthless but they state that my car is worth about $26,000. I owe about $19,500. So I don't think I should be losing that much money. Just the down payment that I gave. My question is, is it worth having the nicer headlights, tail lights, ambient & MyColor???

You'll be doing good to get 20k from a dealer, ther in the business to make money. Look up black book value of your car, that's what dealers go by. Black book is what your car will bring at auction in your area.

Yup. Might break even on what you owe. Maybe. I had thought about doing the same thing when the 13' first came out. I went into a dealer and they offered me about 2K more than I owed at the time. I just really am not a fan of the 13 fronts. Haha. That and taking out another gigantic loan, again. And all the money put into the car just gone.

Not worth it IMHO. But. That is something you'll need to decide. Only thing you can do is go to a dealership and tell them what you want. If they say no, just walk away.

Black Book Value States Its Worth $19,500 - 23,500. So if I decide to do it, I shouldn't be that bad off (hopefully).

In that case, you should be good. Condition is every thing, stock is actually worth more than a modded car.

I speak from experience...MOST dealerships go by the auto trader appraisal you can do online...and auto trader low balls too! But you can always get them up a little on ur trade as well.

Thank You Everybody For Ya'lls Input. I Got Some Thinking To Do. I Guess The Biggest Thing That's Holding Me Back is The Fact That From The Very First Moment I Saw My Car I Knew I Had To Have It. I Just Don't Want To Regret Getting Rid Of Her.

I Haven't Gone Out To See Them In Person Yet (Only Online). Another Plus About My 2012 Is That I Was Certified So It Came With A 7 Year/100,000 Mile Warranty.

I would keep it and just spend the money on making it mine own. Good luck with the decision

I think having a premium is more than worth it, just for sync alone. Not to mention the leather, ambient lighting, and shaker sound system. I do however think you shouldn't capitalize every word. It's hard to read lol

Sorry about that, force of habbit. It has leather seats (dealer installed them before I bought the car). I'm just not sure on paying an extra 8-10 grand on ambient lighting and head/tail lights.

When I traded in my '12 v6 for my '12 GT they gave me 21k for it. I had it for about a year and only had about 5k miles on it. So it won't hurt to see what they offer

I would do the 7bar billet grill and CS front end. Then out the raxiom headlights from American muscle. Looks way better than the 13s front end.
