I have been waiting to see if Roush releases the stage 3 lower open grill, so I can put that in the lower to kinda match the CDC somewhat, though the best match is the Shelby lower, whcih of course doesnt fit on the stock bumper.

I really like the look. So much I'm considering just doing a complete Shelby front from ford then blacking out the SS. As far as the bugs go, theoretically is is no different than having a grill there. I guess it is just now visible. Granted a grill will stop the occasional stray animal, lol. I found a pic of someone who did the Shelby front end on their GT. Looks sweet!!!

Thanks. I think I'm going to this to my car. Did you buy it from Amerian Muscle?

I have contemplated different options, but I like my fogs. The new LED's have crystal look and I just think they look cool. Sorry....

Agreed, the only thing I'd swap my driving lights for is the Boss grille if my car turns into a garage queen at some point. I think they look great as is, especially tinted.

FYI: you can use the 11-12 fog covers too, but you have to remove the front bump to get them on.

Is that basically a limo tint? Also, what about your headlight covers? Aftermarket or tinted? Looks sick. I'm slowly blacking mine out and looking for the most cost effective ideas.

I'd bet the CS fogs with HIDs shine 10X brighter than stock fogs tinted....

Say that from having tinted headlight covers and them being practically worthless.

Do you have LED fogs? Mine still light pretty well even with the covers.

Do you have CS fogs with HIDs? Been a few others with them saying they are extremely bright. I'll know in a few weeks when my HIDs come in.

Whatever is stock on a '13 GT Premium. LEDs, I believe. Dunno jack about lights and I read your post wrong about HEADlights. Was thinking fogs.

Oh no worries. Wasn't trying to be an ***.

Where the questions come is this. HIDs will always be brighter than LEDs. Halogens are usually brighter than LEDs. Depends on the housing I believe and how many LEDs are used. Now. The question becomes this. The stock fog location allows them to throw further than the CS fogs. So the insanely bright HIDs in the CS vs the LED in the stock fogs. I would think the HIDs would still throw further but not 100% sure. I'll be honest I've not very often seen the LED fogs on the 13-14 on.

So...I dunno. I just wouldn't count the CS with HIDs as completely down and out.

I always got people flashing me their lights thinking I had highbeams on with the foglights on, on my 13, I am using halogens in my Lower CS foglights, and its quite noticible the output added with the lower foglights on, so I can only imagine with the HID lower foglights it would light up bigtime for a dark road, though Id think its overkill for well lit areas.

Personally I love the fog lights. Without them it looks like a v6

I vote for no grille fogs. I went with the Roush grille and CS/Boss lower facia w/fogs. Added the Boss splitter too to give it a more aggressive look. Bought the lower facia from my Ford dealer, was cheaper than American Muscle. Boss splitter and Roush grille from eBay

A temporary fix for me until I get a Roush or CDC grille. I too am torn between those two.
