Deck lid help

Had a quick question guys can I use a deck lid from a 2013 on mine if a take off the two bolts and just use 3m tape ?
Has anyone does this ?

It just goes on with double sided tape. You will have to completely remove your decklid emblem though so that it will fit. The 2013 piece is a whole unit.

The '13 deck lid has tabs going across the top and bottom. You'd have to trim them off and then you could use the double sided tape to attach it to your truck. And yeah, you'd have to completely remove your old faux gas cap.

Yea nosympathy did it and it came out really nice. I'm wondering if anyone knows how much one of these are brand new?? I'm considering it now since I'm growing a bit tired of my car on fiber vinyl

It's held on by double sided tape, PITA to take off... Patience a heat gun being careful not to melt the actual GT emblem (meaning dont cool it lol) just enough to warm up the tape underneath and tug it on different ends, and some fishing line helps a bit
