Jack pads from ZL1 Addons

So I wanted to give a review of these. They were originally made for the camaro and the first set in the first picture on the far right were made for the camaro. They didn't safely fit the stangs. We have thinner pinch welds than the camaros do. The company owner only has a camaro and only got a short time to look at a mustang on a dealer lot. I helped him get the design perfect for the stangs. As you can see from all of them we went through a few beta models from right to left. The two on the far left are the finished model.

These things are great. Push them into place on the pinch weld and then put your jack under them and away you go. The front pinch welds are bigger than the rear and these are made to fit the front and the back. They are a little more snug in the front than the back because of this, but we are talking 1/16th of an inch so not much at all. They have a magnet on them to hold them in place while you move the jack under them. Just makes jacking up the car 10 times easier.

He has also tested them with a 5000lb force to verify that they will hold up to the weight of our cars. They are made of a very high strengh plastic. They are made very well and so far the two finished product ones I have work great.

You can buy them from his site, Welcome to ZL1 Addons - modifications for your ZL1 Camaro

well worth it and I enjoyed helping him make them fit our cars properly. I also want to point out I am not payed by him, I saw him post on our forums and saw this as an opportunity to bring something great to the mustang world.

haha wanted to make sure everyone saw it. I am sure a lot of people like me don't usually leave the 11-14GT section to often. Feels safe here...lol. You can delete one if you really want.

Nosimpathy help get this pad to fit the Mustang from across the county. We tried many test pads and I want to thank him for his help.

By the way sent some to the Roush mod crowd for testing also.

Apparently something harder to get too. This is the easiest I've ever had jacking up the car.

I never use the wood blocks I just place my jack on the Lca's area circled in the pic and up she goes never had any issues. Those nylon things are not sitting on the Lca's circled Area its on the location you would put the stock jack in. I never use the stock jack, i always use a floor jack! Its the circle area not the wood block area!

So...you can put these on the pinch weld and jack from there with an actual jack...ya know, a floor jack.

Then you can jack the front of the car with these too....

Yeah, I've my old car up at least 1.7 million times, if I'd had these, I wouldn't have bent the crap out of the bottom of my car.

U guys should think of making them universal and adjustable to fit all cars. That's a really really great idea. Love to see things like that. It has an actual use.

I'm not sure they will fit the rear of a 2012-2013 Boss 302 or GT that has Boss side pipes, like my 2013 GT. Below is a photo showing where the bolt for the side pipes may be getting in the way. I could use a couple of these at least for the front, so let me know if you want me to test fit the rears.
