It's like.....Christmas

The nice man in the big brown truck came the other day .1.) GT 500 ABs (not for everybody, but just the sound I like). 2.) Boss 302 strut tower brace.(I know could've got a tower brace for "free" if I ordered 19 inchers). 3.) Bondra clutch pedal extender. (do NOT knock it if you haven't tried it).
Still waiting for my MGW shifter to arrive (happy, happy, happy).
Also still waiting on my 2014 GT Premium (Ruby Red / Saddle) to arrive. But when it does , I'll be ready.... Have done these same mods on my wife's 2013 GT Premium and am very pleased with the results.
I know, FI, lowered , bigger brakes, upper & lower CA's, & after market tune, etc....would be nice, but both are (will be) DDs. Soooo, just making subtle improvements to "heighten" the driving experience. (oh that almost sounds naughty. ha ha.

Is the boss stb better than the regular GT one at all?

If anything, it's worse. It has a bend in it that is not supported by gussets and its a non tubular design. Eventually I'll get the Steeda STB.

Well, to be fair I haven't had another STB but the car feels dramatically stiffer with if. Guess I'd have to be in a car with one of the others to tell how much more of a difference they might make.

Don't get it twisted, it helps tremendously over nothing, but going from the factory GT Premium STB to the BOSS STB, I noticed no difference. Improvements going from a tubular and strengthened designed STB to the BOSS STB would probably be next to impossible to measure. But I'm sure professional and seasoned racers could notice the subtle differences and benefits to one over the other.

Fair enough. Which I 100% agree with the stock GT stb vs the boss not making a difference. I got the boss stb myself because I didn't get a stb factory on my car and knew I wanted a boss Mani some day and honestly back 2 years ago there were no where near the amount of options there are now.

But as you said I doubt trading the boss stb if you have it for a tubular unit isn't worth the money but if your just looking to buy an stb period or need a new one for the boss Mani they are worth looking into.

Btw sorry for thread jack and congrats on the new parts! I am leaning more and more towards that clutch pedal extender but I'll have to re buy the stock pedal covers as my roush covers won't work with it.

I just like the smooth clean look of the Boss STB.
