Quad tip borlas on a 2012

Does anyone have the link to the guy who put the quad tips on his 2012? I've come across some borla s-types for cheap but they are quad tip. I know I'm gunna have to cut up my boss valance to get the tips to fit, but I'm curious to see better pictures. Also, is there any difference in how far it will stick our from the bumper seeing as how it's specifically 13+?

If you want cheap s-types and not quad tips just buy the universal s-types and some new tips, then just use the OTA connectors from your stock mufflers. It will take a little fan work but should still only be about half of what the actual s-types run

No no lol. I know someone who is selling borla quad s-types off of his 2013 gt500. He said he would sell them to me cheap. I don't want anything ghetto rigged or anything, and I'm just wanting the quad tip look. I figured I could buy his exhaust and modify the rear valance of my 2012 to accommodate the quad exhaust.

There is one guy on here that cut his rear valence to make quads fit, and it actually looked really good

Yeah that's what I was looking for! I can't find a link to that thread and the only decent pictures I have seen are from mustang source. I wanted to find someone who had done it so I could ask for some better pictures. The boss valance is a bit different than the regular gt valance and the guy I saw who did it had the regular gt valance. I'd have to cut mine around the splitter in the back.

Ah I missed the boss valence part, I'll trade you my stock GT for your boss valence so you can just hack up that one lol

Well I'd consider doing that, but I do love the way the rear splitter looks. I think if I made the cuts just big enough to fit the tips it shouldn't cut into the splitter too much, and will still look good.
