Yea stainless works/power only come with an xpipe. If you want LT's with an h pipe I you're restricted to kooks, jba, and JPC, I believe that's about it

Honestly it's not that bad, in fact I love the way my car sounds, what axlebacks are you running?

Stock! I was gonna do the Borla touring but I need to sort out what the rest of the exhaust is gonna be like. I want the most power gains with the least amount of sound.

GT500 might be quieter than the touring.

If you want max power gains and minimal volume I would look into borla touring, magnaflow street, gt500s, something like that. Or hell just keep stock mufflers lol

Eh, you'll have that in a manual with anything other than a pro drag racer.

I was considering keeping the stock mufflers and adding LT's, Catted H pipe and losing the resonators. I might... But I don't know.

That catted H even with high flows isn't going to raise your volume too much.

If you do gt500 youll be happy, its like stock when you drive slow, mid loud at higher rpms, and idle sounds better, ill post a video soon, i have quad gt500s with x

I've also always raced on street tires, and haven't been to the track with half the mods I have now
Edit: the last time I ran the 1/8th was mid last summer and the more I think about it I'm pretty sure it was an 8.4 not a 7.4. I don't have the slips anymore, I'm just going off memory. Like I said grain of salt folks lol

So my very first mod was the Steeda intake and tune. My car was at about 8000 miles at the time and I decided I wanted a little more power out of the car and I knew it would help my fuel economy a little.

Around that same time I also put my first set of axleback mufflers on, flowmaster hushpower. I watched numerous videos on YouTube and the hushpowers sounded the best IMO.

August of 2011 I got new wheels and tires for her, FRPP track pack wheels 19x9's with 275/35r19 on all four corners.

These wider tires combined with my 93 tune made the car feel like a new machine!

Next we're my FRPP p springs and boss intake manifold. I actually got the SVE springs for our car, but they're relabeled p springs, it literally says "ford racing" on the springs.

These dropped the car one inch and I could definitely feel a lower center of gravity and a bit more firm ride and it was awesome!

On the same day I also installed the boss IM and retuned the car. On the low end I didn't notice any difference (no gain or even loss of power) but after 4500 rpms she run like a scalded dog.

I heard the gain from the Boss IM is most significant with a FI. That is why I discounted from my initial upgrade list. Not sure how true this is!

With turbos and centri superchargers it will help more than stock manifold will, mostly at higher rpms. On an NA car you can still get ~20 whp on the top end out of it

Here's a short video of the new exhaust

http://youtu.be/cS-GT8bgTRk

Install was a major pain, but well worth it. Be prepared to spend all day on install and ensure you have a plethora of extensions and ratcheting wrenches. Be prepared to lift the motor as well, I used a small bottle jack with a 2x4 in between the jack and the oil pan. Jack the oil pan as close to the side of the pan as you can get without it being unsafe.

Overall it was a very smooth install. No leaks and it's actually quieter in the cabin. I reused all OEM gaskets and header bolts except for 2, I just used SW's provided bolts for those 2.

Only problem is a slight rattle from the OTA pipe sitting on the panhard brace which I will fix when I install my Steeda ultralites

Went to track last night and hit a new PB!

I had two goals, sub 2 second 60' and 94 mph trap. Well my highest trap was only almost 91 but as we can see I hit my 60' goal! Also, 8.25 is a new PB by 2 tenths. Pretty happy with yesterday's results.

DA was 2350 and I was only running a 91 octane email tune. Up next is a dyno tune!
