So I put my car on the dyno to get a baseline before I start modding. So far the only mod is a muffler delete. Got 350whp 347tq 4th gear pull on a mustang dyno

Is this about average for a stock 5.0?

Are you an auto? And why did I think you already had a centrifugal supercharger?

yeah if you have a manual go back and make them run it in 5th no charge. I had a 40HP and TQ different between 4th and 5th when a shop ran my car in 4th because they were dumbasses. Now was a dynojet and not a mustang dyno, but still your numbers will be skewed.

I told them that I read on here that its 5th that's closest to 1:1 but he looked at me like I was crazy. The first pull they did in 3rd then I told them that and they said they'd try 4th.

No manual 3.73s

5th is a 1:1 on the manual. Lol should print out the ford spec sheet and show it too them and make them redo it. Then never go back there again. I would not let them work on my car....

Lol I drove with my car club 3 hours to get to that place. Was an awesome drive through the adirondack mountains but I probably won't be going back.
So you think my numbers should def be higher? What do stock 5.0s usually dyno at?

Might be a tad higher. Average is 370ish HP. I mean it really doesn't matter because so much can affect dyno numbers. But you could day do a few mods that would net you 40rwhp and go to a different shop and dyno in 5th and think you gained 60+.

So really isn't a big deal long as you keep in mind your stock run wasn't accurate. Then again, different dynos, humidity and temp and how big your balls are and how hot your girl is and how many kids you have will all effect your dyno numbers from others. Haha.
