You are going to get 847 different answers and opinions, but the truth is.. There is no "limit" per say. There are guys who blow the motor bone stock while not even racing. Even more who blow there motors flying down the highway with a CAI and a tune on it. Then you have the polar opposite.. A guy making over 700rwhp on a stock non track pack 5.0 and it's still ticking. Many, many guys making damn near 600rwhp on Paxton, vortech, and procharger set ups and putting many miles on them with no issues. Even the owner of hellion turbochargers put 800+rwhp on a stock block 5.0. I'd say if you have a great tune and don't beat the piss out of it all the time, you could do just like many others and push 600rwhp on your motor.

But just to answer your question specifically.. I would start looking for a boss crate motor for sale once I hit 570+rwhp. It's only a matter of time before you romp on it in cool weather and break a rod or that motor gets tired of the boost.

+5.0 like he said it really just varys for everyone how well the block will hold up, just let the car warm up before getting on it and dont beat it constantly and you should have some good luck with a stock motor.

as with anything 800rwhp is safe if you never use it~ it all depends on how the car is cared for, how often is is beat on and luck lol.

The motor is not nearly as forgiving as a forged internal one would be and the high compression is not good for boost overall.

The key is a GREAT Tune and keeping it safe. I would run 8psi for daily and what ever it makes it makes (at a safe timing and a/f)

I'm going for 600 at tires anything more i would be asking for it to break . The thing with vortech is it isn't instant boost so less stress on motor . Like others said alot in the tune but anything over 600 I'd def start forging stuff
