632 at the wheels roughly isn't bad. There are others here running that.

As with anything FI, if you don't have the back cash to support a blown engine, don't do it!

Well I have been looking at some short blocks from mmr as well I was just wondering if the stock one will handle that reliably or not

Well depends on what you want to say is reliable. Engine is too new to have anyone with say 50K+ miles and FI like that yet. I am not sure of anyone with that many miles and over 600 to the wheels.

As a rule of thumb, keeping it at or under 600 whp is ok on stock block. Most any kit made for the 5.0 will get you there with the proper tune. The tvs 2300 will have no issues getting you there

The brenspeed kit is overpriced IMHO. I know where you could get a custom system cheaper

Wnt2gofast a former member on here ran 600+hp on his car for a few years with no problems. I think he ran into problems when he cranked it to 700.

Jayman knows what he is talking about. He also will give you the best deal. Better than brenspeed ever could.
