Installing headlights

Trying to decide whether to start installing the raxiom lights or not. It's supposed to ran all day and I would be doing the install outside. Only place I could find that would do the install on a Saturday wants $250 to install them, and that's not gonna happen. What do you think?

Wisdom says contain your enthusiasm and wait for a better day with less distractions. It's an easy job but messing about with electrical stuff in the wet when you don't have to isn't a good decision.

Looks like its clearing up. I'm going to seal the headlights with silicone real quick and then I'm going to install. I'll post pics when I'm done.-

Took 2 hours. The hardest part was switching the damn bulbs, it really was a nightmare because of the tight fit . I just partially lowered the bumper to access the lights, and put a towel down. I switched the bulbs in the a/c because I was drenched in sweat. If I had to do it again, I would pay someone to do it. Looks good though. I'll post more pics in a bit.

Won't the 2013/14 lights fit on the 2011/12's? I thought the only difference is the LED running lights.

They will if you have factory HIDs. I don't have factory HIDs but I wish I would have

I think anything on the 10-14s will bolt up not problem... As far as the LEDs I think u would have to find a way to make them work properly... I seen a YouTube video somewhere where u use a ballast of some sort to click off the headlight LED when using the turn signal for the 13-14 headlights

The LEDs are daytime running lights but they can be turned on by turning to the first option on the switch thing. I'm selling mine if anyone's interested. As far as quality, the stocks are much better than the raxioms, but I really wanted halos without melting the stock housing apart to install them.

Is the light output really that bad compared to the stock headlights? I love the smoked lenses and the halos from the raxioms, but dont wanna jeopardize too much light output.

My raxioms have 35W 4300k HIDs. They work fine for me. If the lenses weren't smoked they would be super bright!

Thats pretty good. I have a 14 with stock HIDs so i think i might pull the trigger on the new raxioms. They look sick with the tinted lenses, especially since im going for the blacked out look. Plus i decided to do the black Modern Billet grille so i can keep my stock hid fogs.
