I hope I like it. I like all the vids online. I had slp lth's and loudmouth 1 on my Camaro ss (2002) and it was extremely loud and I loved it. I don't want it that loud; however, the rasp from that was pretty significant and I didn't mind it there. We'll see I guess.

I don't think it's louder but it's definitely deeper and more refined. Removing the resonators made it louder and so did the air raid intake. Sounds perfect IMO

No tune necessary for any axlebacks or even catbacks

Question for all Roush owners!!
I heard the only bad thing about them is that they rust within one year!! Has this happened to anyone?

The newer design has the weep holes drilled into them to allow condensation to drain out so this shouldn't happen anymore. In the 6 months I had mine there were zero issues with them

Mine hasn't rusted, but I don't drive it in the winter either.

Mine are rusted, as it is a dd in Chicago. I put them on in September of last year and have about 8000 of the 9800 miles on them. My tips are painted black. I come with the thought that rust is inevitable if you drive it every day in the winter with salt. Still sounds great.

I love mine. I dipped them in black plasti dip to prevent rusting.

Haven't had any problem with mine rusting either. I have only had them about 4-5 months though.

The mufflers do rust, as does anything subjected to water and salt. I have washed it and rinse the salt every week when needed, almost every other or 3 days wiped and dusted it. This would include the under in the winter. I wax every month. The bottom, if used, is going to rust, and need to be replaced. This is not a show car, but one hat is used and driven hard. Things do rust.

That's a good tip on the plasti dip. Sorry to butt in on your forum, but I kinda like it. The Roush tips are amazing in general, but now I might need to try!

Btw, Chi town FTW! Are you part of CMC?

I would try painting them with some rustoleum silver or some other type of protective coating.

CMC... I say maybe, as I signed up for many forums and clubs when i got the 13GT and don't use any but maybe two, this one seems to be t best.. I will have to look into it when on the computer tomorrow. As to covering it with anything... I agree I the long run it doesn't matter, but from my tips pastidip works.

Yea I pretty much use CMC for the shows and the Chicagoland cruises. Good times!
