What fogs?

I switched to the new raxiom headlights for the 13 because I wanted halos. I love the look, and the light output is ok because I have the stock hid's still, but I was really looking for more light output. I deleted my stock fogs when I changed grilles so I'm looking at either the cs style fog light kit or the roush kit. I'm not sure how the black plastic of the roush would look with my grill though, but on a good note, it would get rid of a big rock chip I have down there. Any thoughts on the two? Will they look stupid with hid's? Here's a pic of my front end.

If function is your goal then your better off getting Roush fogs, CS fogs are not that functional... I added HIDs to my CS fogs and now they're a bit more functional... But I still get 95% of light output from my headlights... I still don't regret getting the CS fogs tho, they look cool

Why do you think the roush ones are more functional!

If the 13-14 Roush is anything like the 10-12, it has bigger foglights which make more light output... Alot of other forum members complain about the light output on the CS foglights... I used to have the grille fogs which were super bright in its halogen form, but I thought they were hideous and clashed completely from my OEM HID headlights especially on the 10-12, the 13-14s look fine tho

Gotcha. Hmm...I'm not sure if I like the big plastic piece. I might have to fit hid's to the cs fogs then. But then again, I'm note sure if that amount of money is worth the extra lighting.

Mikeyt03,

I'm diggin' the new halo's on your '13 GT! If you're looking for more light output, you'll get a lot more light out of the Roush Fog lights equipped with HID's. I definitely think this is your best bet and you'll be happy with the clarity.

Hope this helps your decision. Let me know if you have other questions!

Shane

Thanks, yeah I like new lights too! The light output isn't bad, it's really not that much dimmer than stock at all, but I noticed a big decrease when I got rid of the factory fogs. Do you guys sell what you're referring to?

At the moment, we don't unfortunately. Although, I'm working hard to bring the Roush fog lights in for this exact reason. Well... and because they look awesome.

Hopefully we'll have these fogs in the near future. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ok good. I almost ordered the raxiom kit, but I would rather have the roush fogs. I'm in no hurry, so just let us know when they are available.

Been wondering the same thing as the OP. So the roush fogs ARE HID Shane?

Mikeyt03 has his facts right on! Hopefully, we'll get the Roush fogs in shortly, I just can't confirm anything at the moment. If I get wind of something, I'll let you guys know!
