Mt fluid

I have 13000 miles on my 2013 gt manual. Thinking of changing the trans fluid. I've read good things about royal purple. What weight should I use? And how many bottles/qts? Thanks for any input.

Yeah I tried researching to see if there were different weights just to be sure but not a lot of info for the mustang out there. Thanks!

No problem, also make sure you pick up a hand pump if you decide to do it yourself. I think it only takes 2.3 qts

It's very hard to even figure out what's the right fluid for these MT82, there is no official fluid recommendation for these transmissions... The only real recommendation is the dual clutch fluid from Ford, Surely there are better fluids out there but manufacturers like Royal Purple, Amsoil, Redline, etc. will not stick their necks on the line and say that's what Ford recommnends... I personally use Redline MTL and my trans loves that stuff, its definitely better than that sludge that came from factory (I have an early MT82 build with the QS fluid) I'd say your best bet to figure it out is to Google MT82 fluid, here on ME there isn't enough info on that
