Around lunchtime I went outside the office to check my car and noticed a weird wet spot in the interior. I touched it to see what it is and I'm guessing its just water. It's about 77 degrees outside and probably hotter inside the car. The last time I've gotten a car wash was last Saturday. Could it possibly have a leak or some sort? Car has been under the sun since Saturday & I don't put food nor drinks in the car.

Looks like there may be a leak coming from your windshield, if you really want to figure it out I would sit in the car while someone uses a water hose to run water over it

Haha I was gonna say the same thing, doesn't look wet to me... It looks like a slight grease spot from being sweaty and it is getting hot now so u might have been sweating and rubbed against it

I took the picture before I touched it lol. My brother just confirmed that he too has the same minor problem with his '14 mustang. No traces of leaks. It maybe a build up of moist from the cold morning?

Here's a pic of his

After a few minutes of hosing down the windshield, there were no signs of leaks. Did a couple more inspections and I think the wet/moistly spot is caused by the A/C vent on the driver side. Both my brother and I turned our cars off without shutting the A/C off yesterday(It automatically shuts off, we know lol) Both vents were also facing/aiming upwards towards the moistly spot. I'm guessing the temperature this morning also played it's part on creating this moistly substance

Take it off and inspect it. Or u can be that guy that brings it to the dealership for every little problem. I like to figure it out on my own.

I had a wet spot in the passenger seat first time I took my girlfriend for ride. She's never been in a V8 Pony car before.

Just a thought - that's where I see a lot of people resting their hand while cruising with the windows down. Maybe it's just oil from your skin?
