Anyone added Wilwood brakes to rear with Brembo still on front.

I should have been more clear.
MY car came with Brembo on front.
I want to upgrade rear to Wilwood and then the front later

I don't think you should worry about upgrading brakes, unless you're getting brake fade. What other mods do you have installed?

, just kidding... Looks like you've got performance and suspension worked out, haha. I think the only difference in Brembo vs Wilwood is the Wilwood is 6 piston and Brembo is 4. Not a huge upgrade but I've heard very good things about Wilwood, a lot of open wheel modifieds, dirt track cars, etc run Wilwood around where I live.

What tires are you running?

I'm a fan of nitto personally. Or Yokohama stickies.

I bet those Pirellis cry when you get on the skinny pedal_

First thing you want to do is beef up the front brakes. Adding in rear brakes will only alter the brake bias in these cars plus the rear brakes are typically used with the emergency handle. Heat is the number one enemy for brakes however there are many improvements that can be made to the stock brembos that will transform them. Being that your car is a daily driver the Hawk HPS will work just fine, a new higher temp dot 4 brake fluid like super blue will work, the stock rotors do just fine unless you're going for looks if that's the case look at the DBA 4000 (one piece) or 5000 (piece) rotors. Lastly is brake duct lines, heat is your brakes biggest enemy.

My 2011 ran a 2.3 Whipple and I still ran my stock brakes... just beefed up... they did just fine.

I have upgraded to the Wilwood Superlites all around on my '11 GT. To clarify, the fronts are 6 piston, the rear are 4 piston calipers.

Thanks! they're Steeda Spyders. I have been super happy with them and they get very positive comments all the time- the biggest reason I bought them is cuz I could get them in 11X20, but now I really like them.
