Does your AC do this?

Hey guys, i drive a 13 gt/cs with 11,xxx miles on it. This is my second summer with it in san antonio, tx where it ranges from 90 degrees to 100+. While my air always blows cool... Its like the speed speeds up and down when im driving and sometimes at idle. Its very annoying and just wondered if any of you have had this issue. This is the first brand new car ive ever owned so needless to say i take as good of care of it possible... Even so to the point where i normally wont turn the ac speed past 3-4 for fear of premature wear.... (Paranoid and stupid i know). Does anybody else's kind of speed up and slow down intermittently? Just wanted some insight before i try to bring it to the dealer. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Mine does the same thing but only when I am idling, never noticed it while driving. I'm in Dallas so I experience the upper temps also.

Silly question, but automatic or manual fan adjustment?

Are you talking about the a/c cooling fan kicking on and off intermittently? If so, yeah it's annoying but it's normal.

I was going to add to that twotone...
Cycling of fan speed happens on mine when the AC is on and the cooling fans kick in. Not significant but definitely a slow down.

Mine doesn't seen to speed up and down. I know that in San Antonio it doesn't get cold enough unless I have it on recirculate.

Doesn't matter if its max ac or normal ac your compressor is just cycling on and off to keep pressures to normal levels if the car is sitting still no air is passing through the condenser to cool the system and keep pressures down so pressure switch or expansion valve kicks the compressor off til it's safe again

Mine doesnt do that. I live in Indiana however it does get pretty darn hot here. I usually use max a/c. Never noticed it. I have a 13 GT.

Thanks for all the replies and help guys i appreciate it. I dont believe the issue im having is from my fan kicking in.... Its really hard for me to explain. Sometimes happens when im at a light and sometimes when im driving. Air is always cold... But the speed of it will increase and
decrease intermittently. It just makes me think somethings wrong somewhere
