Eibach springs 2014 GT

I have had my new GT for a week 2014 track pack. My question is has anyone used the Eibach springs 1.5 drop with 19" wheels?
Also the camber bolts is there enough adjustment built into them?
This is a really good site with a ton of info hope its not a rethread I couldn't find any info on it

I believe the 1.5 is the pro kit. I was told that with those and a panhard bar I would be alright. I'm not look for any performance gain right now just the dropped look. (Due to money). I'll be running with 20's. so you should be alright.

Thanks yes the 1.5 drop is the pro kit. I used these springs many moons ago on a 95 cobra they were great no bouncing no rubbing great ride. Hope they work the same as they did then if not better.

Actually forgot to write, yes I'm also doing the steeda adjustable pan hard bar as well. The kit comes with the struts and shocks, so should improve the handling as well as the lowered stance.

I figured I'd invest the money and do the whole kit, I'm sure there are other pieces to the puzzle to get, but one thing at a time...well a few pieces at a time with the kit at least lol. I'll let you know how I think the ride changes once its done.

Pics! Picked it up from the shop yesterday just before it stormed. Definitely could tell the difference in feel, not harsher at all, just less roll in the corners, and much better handling. Really happy so far. Cant wait to get it on the road again today!

You should consider soon an adjustable upper control arm to correct the pinion angle. Dropping the car will increase the angle between the differential and the rear drive shaft. I have struggled with clunk noise and still suffering.

I have Eibach ProKit setup on mine and am running 20's (11" rear with 315/35's) and have absolutely zero rubbing. I did install an adjustable panhard bar to center the axle up. You won't have any rubbing problems.

Seems like alot of people do the pro kit with stock shocks and struts, anyone know if that is a decent ride? I was planning on koni oranges. Ive also heard that with a mild drop the pro kit provides your pinion angle isnt affected too harshly. Does anyone know?

I have the Pro Plus kit that comes with shocks/struts and they're not too bad but if I were to do it over I would have gotten the Koni orange... And the the GT500 mounts for the front only because I heard that's a great setup... My setup right now is good but i know it can be better

You can always go better. I got the koni orange and wish I would have waited and gotten koni yellow. Haha. You feel everything. But, your either doing it for racing or looks. Not for comfort.

Man that's slammed! Love it. Seems like its actually lowered better than mine. I have the sportlines but even with 285/30/20 it seems like it has a slightly larger gap on mine.

Guess what they say each car drops differently.

Great job nice looking car!

Really leaning towards these springs. What's the drop in inches for the back? Some sights say 1.5" others say 2.6" just want to clarify. Thanks.

If hes clearing parking blocks, the front is about 1.5 any lower abd he wouldn't clear them.

Supposedly it's a 1.3" front and 2.0" rear drop.

Yeah for the most part I clear curbs. A 1.3" isn't a low drop. Most newer parking lots have I think a standard thickness in curb height and no problems here.

Some people say its a smooth ride though stiff. For the most part it's smooth and can take small imperfections well but it's when you hit some wavy parts of the road is when you start feeling like a boat because the stock struts are overpowered and can't dampen the spring rates.

The rear feels a bit more poised dealing with the ups and downs.

Changed out the LCA and added a relocation bracket. Slightly less bounce especially in the back I guess cause the slop is gone from the rubber bushing.

Get the sportlines. I think you would eventually enjoy it more. I do... Everytime I drive the car and everytime I walk to and from the car and everytime I get a thumbs up. =)

Did you install a camber plate or bolt? I didn't but took it to two alignment shops and not said my alignment is within spec.

I got the Sportlines with a 1.3" front drop. From what I remember not shop gave the same degree on the camber.

Your front tire looks almost like it has 0 camber while mine looks a bit tilted inwards.

Sorry second paragraph didn't make sense. Stupid iPhone correction.

"I got the Sportlines with a 1.3" front drop. From what I remember [both] shops gave the same degree on the camber [after the drop]." Said camber is within spec.

So from what I'm reading I'm gonna need a lot more things then just the springs for the lowering kit huh. I was looking at lowering spring and it drops 1.5 all around. Would the car be fine just lowering it with that or will I need all that your talking about?

1.5 I would say is where you need I start looking at stuff to go with it. And I would really suggest camber plates instead of bolts. And also some shocks and struts. Because (from what I was told by a lot of people) you are goin to wear the stock shocks and struts out quick with that much of a drop.
