2012 Ford Mustang automatic transmission

Does anyone know the maximum horsepower that a 2012 automatic transmission can handle. The car only sees the track a few times a year and is only driven in warm weather. Currently got the 575 hp roush supercharger kit installed. I want to know how much power anyone else has in their coyote mustangs.

Beefcake still has a stock trans in his kona blue car, and he's pushing 1100+ rwhp. You're just fine with 575 on your trans

Thanks. Thinking of getting a torque converter to push the car into the low 11s. Then I should be done upgrading for a bit.

What are your times now? You should already be low 11's high 10's with the Roush unless you're running their tune which isn't very good.

That's what I was thinking, seems brenspeed runs a mid 10sec on their street car. I didn't want to quote that bc I couldn't remember for sure.

I have the roush tune right now. I know with Brenspeed's tune and a converter I should be able to go low 11s and high tens. Brent's team is awesome. They are super busy now so trying to get back there to get my car tuned and dynoed is pretty tough.

You do not need a converter to run 10's. A good tune and tire and you should have no problems. Also VMP is pretty popular with tuning the Roush blowers. They even have their own version.
