5.4 shelby motor

I'm looking at a 2013 wrecked Shelby mustang and curious in the long run. Can those motors be rebuild? Was told they might not be able too.

They will be like any other motor and yes they CAN be rebuilt I watched a video of a guy rebuilding one on YouTube

Not necessarily. It depends on if there is any damage to the cylinder walls. They are not sleeved, they are aluminum with a special coating. Not sure how much room remains for honing or boring.
