Last weekend I noticed the passenger side pony projection light wasn't working. So I checked it the next morning and it was fine again. Well the last 3 days or so it quit working again...and this time for good. The drivers side projection light works just fine. I just turned 6000 miles. Has anyone been having problems with them not working? Surely I'm not the first one...
I guess my plan of action will be to call the dealer and let them take care of it.
I'd definitely take it by the dealer and have them give it a look. It could be something as simple as a bulb that was on its way out and finally died or it could be more in depth. Either way, it should be a free fix to you.
Yea I had a problem with my driver door not locking, I took it in and and had it fixed the same day. it ended up being just a loose connection between harnesses. I'm sure warranty work some percentage of the purchase price, might as well use it while you got it
I figure its just a loose wire or some type of bad electrical connection since the other one works just fine. I was just wondering if this was a common problem or if I'm the special child. Looks like were going with special...
Sorry for bringing up semi-old topics. I'm just curious what they found out. I just took a trip out of town where I actually hit a hard bump going over some tracks that cross a highway. Don't know if it happened then or not, but my passenger side pony lamp is out also. I just hit 4k miles so I know it is all still under warranty. Just curious if it was something simple so I can avoid bringing it in. I get paranoid when people mess with my vehicle. Last time I brought it just for a oil change/car wash because of that promotion my dealership was running and ever since I got it back I swear I feel/hear something different in the driver side front end. Everyone else tells me I'm hearing things, but I think it's something that you have to have always been the one driving it to notice. I don't know.
EDIT:
I noticed the driver side pony lamp has like extra lines on it as if something scratched the stencil of the pony(Don't know if it is really a stencil or what it is. Just saying it in terms where can get what I'm talking about.) There are like random lines below it every so often kind of random looking. Looks like grass is growing below the pony.
