engine bay

I live on a dirt road and as you can imagine my engine is covered with fine dirt dust. Can I wash this off? I know I shouldn't "drown" the motor but this stuff is aggravating. The motor is all stock except for oil catch can.

Dude wet rag, some simple green will do it. Takes more time then hosing but that can be a hit or miss.

The owners manual shows the 4 places you need to cover.

I wish. Just took a rag to it. Looks OK now. Can't wait to get a paved road. Price I pay to stay away from the city.
