I just got installing the Boss shift knob an boot and it's awesome! Super easy install maybe 20 min tops and it feels soooo much better than the thumb I had LOL

So if your thinking about changing knobs I highly recommend the boss set up!

No short throw I actually like the stock shifter for now....plus our daughter was just born the 9th of this month so my mod money has been modding the nursery LOL this only cost me 88 bucks

Thanks everyone .....I would have to say this mod coupled with the energy suspension bushing was the best money I have spent it has a much crisper feel now than it did before .

check partscheap.com. I did the same swap in my Premium. Its about $85 for knob and boot to match. Looks so much better and has a great feel over the cheap one that Ford put in. At first I really wanted the 401A aluminum knob, but I read how its cold in the winter and hot in the summer, plus its expensive. I didn't know there was a Boss parking brake cover....have to look into that.
