Dash Panel Trim Piece?

I noticed the dash panel to the right and left of the steering column kinda looks unfinished with sharp edges. Mine is worse on the right side. I am wondering if there is a trim piece missing or if that's how it was built? Any thoughts?

Mine is the same, there's alot of imperfections on these Mustangs... Rattles here and there, seat quality sucks, but I figured they're a bargain for what your getting

Mine is the same way. Found it odd, yet I hardly notice it in every day driving

Always find some things. Personally the drivers seat feels like its a little too close to center console. I find myself sometimes not sitting 100% square to bottom. The E-brake is one thing.... its a little to much over on driver. JMO and most don't see or feel this due to being probably thin and under 200 pounds. I'm just 6' 230 but its for sure a notice to me

LOL........Positive. If I had a option to move the seat a little to the left or right while sitting in it I would say Left. For sure. I have met a few others who felt the same way. Just Sayin..

What year is your car? What package? Just wondering ...
