There is a ton of great exhaust brands out there & when it comes to Headers they all sound pretty similar. If you're looking for deep and throaty, then I would also go with an O/R X/H Pipe!

Kooks & Pypes are to of our Most popular headers. There's no argument about Kooks being the best header on the market! Pypes also makes a great product and are very affordable.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future. Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

JPC sells a very good header for this car and it's on sale right now. 699 headers only or 850 I think with X pipe. The header's 304 stainless and has a good rep.

Is kooks the only American made headers? I always try to buy Union and American made products when possible.

No, American Racing Headers are made on Long Island New York. In Amityville of all places if anyone is familiar with The Amityville Horror.

Thanks, I just did a quick search and was surprised to find a very long list of American made choices.
