Will this be too much??

I been thinking about adding a G-Stream racing wing but don't want to look ricey. What do you guys think? Will it look odd on the streets?
I have a race car look going on with a roll cage, omp racing seats, and tiger hood on the way among some other mods.
Main reason I want to do it is because some guys at the track said it makes a REALLY BIG difference from personal experience.

If you're wearing a race helmet no wing is too big!

Well if you notice, all of the pics of those cars are on the track. That is exactly where that giant wing should stay.

It'll look very much odd on the streets. Even the ricer kids will say it's a bit much for a DD. It could possibly be the tallest wing I have ever seen. If its a track only car, I say go for it.

The only time I have seen anything like that is on a ricer. Don't insult your poor Mustang with that.

Agree to do what you want, but please understand going into it that if you put that thing on your car, a picture of it will inevitably wind up in the Rice or Nice thread.

Don't mean to "steal" your joke again but, Wings are only functional at XXX(or however any xxxs you want) MPH. Anything less than said MPH is simply aesthetically pleasing. Or in this case not. FWD or RWD if you're not in the MFR specs to where it will be useful (just like the BOSS LS chin spoiler 120+. per Jay Lenos garage. youtube boss302jayleno about 7:30in) it is rice due to to fact that you have something on your car that is ridiculous and adds no actual performance value on the street where it will be driven 84% of the time

Thanks for all the response guys, I agree that in the streets it is way to much and for that reason I will not do it. I already have from factory the LS wing and it looks nice. Plus the wifey thought I was joking when I asked if she liked it lol. Well I guess I will not have the Viagra wing

It's functional on the track but on the street, NOT!

Anything taller than factory (ie a pedestal spoiler) looks like rice IMO. If you have enough power/speed to need that spoiler on the track, then install it AT the track and take that God-awful looking growth off when it's not at a track you can run 200mph on.

Besides, how many 2000hp cars running over 200mph in the standing mile use those? If they can plant the power and be sleek/aerodynamic...they might be onto something.

Only if you get a bigass splitter in the front to keep it down as well. This Is for a track right? Might as well buy a beater ecobox and turn that thing into the monster it can be.

Better have the "nuts" to back up such a wild addition. I know some of the fastest autox cars run these but some of them also run 315's up front. If your not going to track the car often then yes it's RICER! Lol if you DO go with the wing then add the boss Laguna front splitter as well
