2010 Rear Axle Shaft Issues

So I bend my drivers side rear axle shaft a while ago and finally order what I thought was the right part for it. A Dorman 630-505 Axle Shaft that on stockwiseauto.com claims it fits my exact model (2010 v6 coupe) and trim yet the mechanics I took it to could not fit it in the differential....I researched all over to find out why it won't fit but I'm lost now....
