Boost gauge install q

So on my vortech the bov is Hooked up to drivers side vacum line on fuel rail like in the instructions . For my boost gauge would I tap into that same line ? Just don't wana chop more things up lol thanks

I'm having the same issue with a roush tvs,I have to figure out where to put the T fitting,roush told me behind #8 cylinder is a hex bolt,undo that and that is where you tap into,I need to look alittle harder,can't find it.

Mines a vortech so I think it's the brake booster line that the bov is Hooked up to maybe il just cut it and try it lol

What was the final verdict on why your car was acting strange? Brake booster line is good for hookup.

Well I got my boost gauge up and running today found out I need to buy quarter inch NPT thread 1/8 inch. barb that goes in the lower intake manifold now all is well and the boost gauge works perfect

@chefron. Do you have any pictures of the steps you took to install it? I have seen the boost gauge that installs in the drivers side a/c vent.

I got the roush a/c vent for the boost gauge,takes like 5 minutes to install. On the super charger its better to upgrade the the clear plastic vacuum line to real vacuum hose.Will last much longer and not melt.I had to go to auto zone and get a few more parts to make it work right. now a few month's later no issues.
