They're well worth the money sir. Well worth it. Remember, power isn't the only thing that makes a car great. The appearance has a lot to do with is as does the capabilities of the vehicle.

^ Agreed the 13/14 GT500 has to be one of the best bargains going. The worlds most powerful production V8 for 60k. Still way out of my budget but come on that thing is amazing. It may not have supercar suspension or a fine italian interior but it costs a fraction of the cost of any of those foreign jobs.

Just bought Flowmaster exhaust for my H pipe. Love the sound but its not loud enough. There goes $400. Hopefully i can sell it for a reasonable amount.

Biggest regret ever was buying and installing an eforce supercharger. Ruined my love for my GT. I hate the car now. Even after removing the kit, I have nothing but problems.

I should have left well enough alone. Was a great running car before that.

I don't regret the mods I have done, but if I had to go back...

The intake could've waited until after the UCA/LCAs. Power isn't the first thing that needs worked on - keeping the rear planted is a better initial investment.

And I wish I'd gotten the factory recaros. Live n learn.

662hp crank rating but some have put down 650 wheel stock... They are vicious... And I'd take that tremec trans over just about any other manual.

Barton 2 post bracket. Wasn't that impressed and I should have gone for the MGW from the start. Now I just need to find time to install my MGW

+1

I keep my racing to the strip and have only been a hand full of times. I plan on getting some more seat time to help with the driver mod. Easy way to a few tenths off the 1/4 . And it's wallet friendly

Bassani axle backs. The sounded great but the drone was horrible. Sold em, lost over $200.

Rally stripes. Bought them online and let a tint shop put them on. Way too many bubbles. I raged out and pulled them off. He refunded the labor charge. Lost $130

Those are the only negative experiences...so far...fingers crossed.

Aftermarkets HIDs.

Bought from the typical sh*tty website and had problems for six months constantly trying to address them and work with the dealer. Eventually I found an amazing source for HIDs and once ordered, had them in 3 days later and never had any problems again... Except for damn halogen housings not being designed for HIDs, haha.

That the whole reason people buy these cars; to customize them.

Mod bug doesn't really cover it, more like Pony Mod Fever. It's an actual medical condition. 75%-95% gets spent on the Mustang.

We need Obamacare to start covering our mods, it's a legit medical expense.

Yes, someone tell the Feds that. I like Pony Mod Fever, instead of the Mod bug.

Definitely would have to be Roush axle-backs...horribly loud and obnoxious sounding with longtubes and catted x-pipe. I got in all kinds of trouble just driving normally...swapped them out for GT500's and never looked back.

Bought raxiom ccfl halo lights, love the way they look with the black housing, but they don't put off much light.

Ha, sounds all too familiar. I did the same and told myself; "Heh, 15 bucks...Man, modding is pretty cheap"! My next purchase was $600 a week later. Whoops
