Installed Barton 2 post bracket

Took about 45 minutes to do. I'd say the hardest part was dealing with the bolts in the tight location. Ratcheting wrenches are your friend here.

I couldn't believe how cheap the stock bracket was and the Barton felt bulletproof.

Took the car for a drive and couldn't notice anything driving casually, but when I brought the RPMs up and slammed through the gears I noticed a difference. The feeling of forcing the shifter into the gear is gone.

I know this is a common opinion, I just wanted to inform you of another happy customer and recommend this to anyone. I noticed no increase in noise either!

Get a Barton shifter to accompany it and you'll be grinning ear to ear.

i need to find someone who's got an aftermarket shifter to find out if it's worth it to me. i'm definitely not as disappointed with the stock shifter as a lot of people seem to be.

I used the Steeda red bushing and a cheap ball knob from AM and that setup has been down-track over 100 times without issues. I find the stock shifter quite ok myself, with these little helps.

I'm with you. The stock shift knob is AWFUL. I never thought that'd make a difference, but it did

It almost made more difference than the bracket did. I was really surprised.

The ability to feel the shifter better is extremely important. That stock knob had to go.
