2014 GT ?

Would a 2014 regular GT with Brembo Package and 3:73 make a fun car since it would not be my primary car day to day ?
The price is under 29K out the door and I'm tempted. I can always put a strut tower bar on to make me think I got the track pack.
Was looking at the Camaros but from what I've found rather pay less and get more performance from a car I can see out of.

That would be a great toy, but the ultimate toy IMO would be an 03-04 cobra terminator, would cost your around 20k for a good one

The Brembo comes with the strut tower brace (at least mine did). I have the car you describe and it's a blast.

Mine came with a brace and I don't have track pack or Brembo package.

Best news I've heard all day brought a smile to my face when people realize that the Mustang has the lowest price and best performance. And not many ppl realize that you can't see sh1t out of a Camaro or Challenger except through the front windshield. buy it and you will never regret it. I was in the market for a base 5.0, I just ended up in a Boss :p for close to the same price

And really? How cheap did you get that boss?
Im debating on continuing on the f/i for my 2v or just using that $ for a down payment on a new coyote.

MP - Mustang/Manufacture Prototype

So you're saying 44 cars is mass production?

Best news I've heard all day brought a smile to my face when people realize that the Mustang has the lowest price and best performance.

This is from an Autoweek article today on the Camaro 1LE:

ROAD TEST EDITOR JONATHAN WONG: I haven't been the biggest fan of the Camaro SS. Sure, it has plenty of power, but it's never been much of a handler. From behind the wheel, it feels heavy, and the suspension setup is more touring-like with a lot of body roll through turns and dive under braking. And there is nothing wrong with having a ride that's on the comfortable side of the spectrum because there are a lot of people who would use these cars as daily drivers. As for me, I prefer a tighter car that feels eager and light on its feet, which is why I would always take a Ford Mustang GT over the Camaro SS.

I chose a base GT (300A) with Track Pack as its only option. I nolonger need all the bells and whistles of a premium coupe. I only need performance, and my new GT provides plenty of that. I special ordered it and 30 days later, I had it in my hot little hands. Here's what I bought:

I have a 2014 GT Track Pack its a very fun car. I drove them all Vette, Camaro, Challenger and so on My heart was set on the Mustang having owned 10 of them over the years and second one I currently own . I guess im a little bias but the Stang is the best car reguardless of the price.

No, it would not be fun at all. I suggest a Nissan Versa, thats a fun car.

You think I don't know that that's lower than the trade value on it I couldn't pass it up. The dealership paid $38 for it. I saw the paperwork

Good God, that's an insane price. I also live in the north east, most expensive place in the damn country. I paid almost $34K out the door for a 2014 GT Premium, no track pack. GOD DAMNIT, lol! And I beat them up for that!

I'd be all over that deal. I looked at Camaros too but decided that night to walk across the street to the Ford dealer. The Camaro was ok, I liked it but didn't love it. I felt like it had better road presence, but I couldn't see a damn thing out of the rear and I felt like I was in a cave. The high beltline was terrible and the interior felt cramped. It felt like it was fast, but it didn't seem like it had any soul, maybe that was just my impression.
After I walked over to the Ford dealer, I wasn't expecting to be impressed, I just wanted to look cause they were open and I was curious. Funny cause while I was sitting in a GT with the sales guy, we heard some exhaust roaring down the street. It sounded amazing, I said, "Damn that guy was hauling ***!" The sales guy said, "It's one of the salesmen from Nissan, he has a mustang and he was just pulling out of the driveway" lol. I was sold.

I paid 29.9k for my 2013 GT/BBP/TP. That's because I blew up a 2011 that had a supercharger on it. The salesman and finance said it was under warranty. Brought it in ticking like a clock the day after and the service manager said nope. Not under warranty. Handed the keys back. Manager felt bad and asked if he could get me in the 2013 for the same price would I do the deal. I said sure, thinking there was no way possible as sticker was 38.9k. I'll be damned if he didn't call me an hour later and said come pick up my car.

This began as a '13 GT Track Pac / Brembo car and six months later after having a blast modding it:

Don't think twice, that '14 will see more time on the road than you plan because they are a blast!

I bought a 2014 GT track pack for a little over 28k otd. The only options were track pack and the base tech package (sync & pwr driver seat) I love the car; it's alot of fun and I have already begun throwing some mods at it. You won't be disappointed. I did have a 2013 track pack without the tech; I would prefer sync as I plan to upgrade to the raxiom touchscreen so I am glad I got my 2014.

This is exactly what I paid for my 2014 base model GT with automatic before my trade in and taxes. With trade in it was down to $22,400.
