Yes, it's very aggressive. I don't think it's too aggressive at all! It's just much more aggressive than the Street tune so for someone who is used to the Street tune, this will be a completely different animal.

The Hybrid tune will make similar power to the Race tune. Most likely will make a little more down low though!

I run this tune all the time on my daily driven 2011 GT. I have absolutely no complaints!

We can't do the Ghost Cam tune for Auto's at this time, unfortunately. If we decide to offer this file for Automatic 11+ GT's, I'll definitely let you know!

I have a Bama tuner, and was wondering aside from the drop in gas mileage at idle, are there any other disadvantages of running the ghost cam tune over just the race tune? I remember hearing a while ago somewhere that running a ghost cam tune isn't the best for the engine, although that was with another tuning system than bama... I do love the sound I've seen from videos though.

I'm new here to the forum. Your mods are similar to mine.

I've got '13 Boss 302; added the Roush A/B's last November and it was ferocious, especially with the H Pipe/side exhausts.

I've made some changes for performance gains: AED Tune, Jegs Cat Deletes, FRPP X Pipe (I did the X pipe also because we added a Torque Arm Kit and it was too tight for H pipe/Sides, etc.)

After doing these, I was getting cannon-like backfires on downshifting and decels. I love loud, but the backfires were obnoxious! We checked for exhaust leaks and found none. So, decided to put the stock A/B's back on.

No more backfires, but my car sounds horrible (like stock). Anyway, I'll probably buy some GT 500's and try those.

Sorry for the long post. You experience any backfiring???

Thanks,

Steve

I took the Bama cam tune off my car recently. I was tired of the bucking when pulling out of the driveway (only time it happened) and it was just dumping to much fuel IMO and smelled horrible at idle. I switched back to my 93R tune and the smell decreased a bit. I liked the cam tune but just got tired of it. I'm sure I will run it again sometime in the future because it did sound great with my LTs and O/R X.

Yes, you can get a Hybrid tune for your 10' GT Mustang. The Hybrid tune is basically a mix of all three tunes. It has the low end torque of the Street tune, Mid range of the performance tune and all out top end of the Race tune!

This tune isn't for everybody as it is our most aggressive option IMO. I absolutely love it! I run the Hybrid tune on my 2011 GT everyday and have no complaints.

I hope this helps! Give the Bama team if you need some assistance.

Is Bama able to do hybrid tunes for all cars, including pushrod 5.0's? Or just modular motors?

Yep it was a 12.6. I have Nitto 555R's on the rear, 255/45/18's. I was having traction issues with my TC turned off. Should I just heat them up a little more? I think that would've gotten me another 1/10th if I got a good launch with it turned off. I chirped the tires all the way to 4th...

Did you launch at 2200? Some tires like more heat, not sure on the Nittos tho. Solid run for you tho.

Nitto 555r's 255/45/18's. I couldn't hook up with the TC off. I don't think I was heating them up enough so all of my runs after my first one of spinning through 3rd were with the TC on.

There's nothing wrong with running the Cam tune. At idle, it does affect the gas mileage a little bit but that's all. As soon as you start moving the car goes back to its normal parameters! I run the cam tun on a daily basis in my 2011 GT, with absolutely no problems.

The Hybrid tune won't lower you gas mileage. You may see a small increase in power with the Hybrid tune, over the Performance tune. You'll definitely have some more low end grunt and better top end, your mid range should stay the same!

I hope this helps! Hit up the Bama team if you have any questions. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I tried out the ghost cam tune on my GT and honestly I'll say I'm not really a fan. All it really seems to do is change the normal 500-750 idle to a rough idle that constantly bounces from 500-900 RPM. The sound is alright, but it doesn't really sound like an actual race cam to me. It's more annoying than anything, so I'm going back to the regular race tune for now.
