I have the ghost can tune from bama and absolutely love it. It attracts so much attention every where I go. I went to the drag strip last Friday, and while in the staging lanes and idling, people were asking me to race for money against some serious race cars. Apparently it sounds faster then it really is! Thanks bama!

13yote, that sounds pretty sick. Don't know if I would want to run that tune as the daily driver, but it would be way fun for some days.

Dan, when buying the three tunes from AM/Bama, can one mix and choose the 3 tunes? Like.....1-Ghost Cam 2-Hybrid Tune 3- Performance

Yea like Struego said, it attracts sooo much attention and looks. People walk by my car now when I'm parked idling and just stare. The best way I can describe the looks on their faces is that they're thinking, wtf does he have in that thing? Haha

Sounds good 2013coyote. Just like mine. My favorite feature is how it shakes the whole car at the stop lights.

Misfires on a motor is not good for it, even if it's a controlled misfire.

It's not misfiring. Adjustable cam timing is all that is.

So how's it work, is it opening valves when they are normally closed or what.

It is similar to adding a lopey cam like old time hot rods. You can literally adjust the duration of your cams electronically in these 5.0s. It's a combination of either exhaust/intake valves staying open longer/closing sooner that creates the lopey idle. Reason why I used the "/" is because it can be either or depending on what you want. Essentially you want the intake valves open as long as possible to get the greatest volume of intake you can, but at a certain point the exhaust valves will open and inevitably let some of that air charge to escape.

Hey Dan
I have a Bama tuner but what is a Ghost Cam Tune? I'm happy with the Race tune but was wondering what the difference was?

So far that's the only tune I have ran so yes it's on that tune all the time. Exhaust is stock headers, lethal off road x pipe, and Roush axle back mufflers/deletes.

Ok sweet, love the sound... I have the Roush axle backs as well, just not sure I want that much attention yet... Living in Virginia and all.. I got a ticket for my tint (thats not even that dark) a little before I left on deployment... Can't wait to get back and drive her...

Then yea I would steer clear of an off road pipe unless you're gonna switch mufflers. This thing literally sounds like a drag car. I love it though lol. Sounds nasty as hell.

Hey Guys,

The Ghost cam tune is only offered for 11+ Mustang GT's. The 4V motor have VVT (Variable Valve Timing) that can be adjusted within the tune. We can play with this table and give your car an extremely lopey idle that sounds like you have a big cam in your car!

I hope this helps clear things up. Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

My friend has it on his 13 GT/CS and seems to really like the way it runs other the sudden drop to 500 rpm when ghost cam kicks in i guess you could say. Sounds pretty sweet though.

There is no horsepower gains from the Cam tune. At idle, your car will loose some gas mileage. With the adjusted VVT, your car will be dumping more fuel. However, as soon as you start moving all the parameters go back to normal and you won't see a loss in gas mileage!

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions!

Yes, you can get a Hybrid tune for your 10' GT Mustang. The Hybrid tune is basically a mix of all three tunes. It has the low end torque of the Street tune, Mid range of the performance tune and all out top end of the Race tune!

This tune isn't for everybody as it is our most aggressive option IMO. I absolutely love it! I run the Hybrid tune on my 2011 GT everyday and have no complaints.

I hope this helps! Give the Bama team if you need some assistance.

Wow that does sound great... What do you mean it's not for everyone though? Just too aggressive ? Or with certain mods its not good?

Just to clarify, so you would get more gains out of the hybrid tune out of the other tunes. How would this do on a daily driver ?
