Depends on what tires you are running and what suspension mods you have. Anywhere from 2k-4k or even higher. You launch at the highest rmp you can without spinning.

With the stock brembos, advancetrak set on sport, .373, and stock LCAs/UCA I launch around 2200. I get a little spin but it hooks fairly well after that. I don't launch much lower than 2k though, I feel the 5.0 is sorta in a dig any lower. Gotta watch for the spin into 2nd as well!

I launch my 2011 5.0 at 1600-1700rpm with street tires for best results. (manual 3:31 gears CAI and exhaust) I don't slip the clutch just drop it.

I went to the track with my 2011 gt. basically stock. Intake, tune and cat back. I believe I went with too much tire. I used a Mickey Thompson full slick, 28.5x10x15. I launched at 3500 and at 6000. I had no traction issues. In fact I think I had too much traction. Too much tire, and not enough motor. Car came out like a monster. Pulled one wheel momentarily off the ground and quickly bogged out. 60 foot times were... 3500 rpm-1.9, and at 6000 rpm-2.1. Horrible IMO. I ran short off time, but I think I need to lower my rpm at start to 1500-2000. Stock suspension btw.
